Adejosh Brings the Afrobeat Vibes in ‘Reload It’
Adejosh fuses his British and Nigerian cultures to influence his futuristic Afrobeat sound
Adejosh has released the music video for his latest single ‘Reload It’. The rising UK Afrobeats star brings a new edge to an otherwise timeless sound.

The world was first introduced to Adejosh when he released his ‘Confident EP’ in 2016. The EP featured the likes of Afro B and New Age Musik. The singer first found his love for music when he was a keyboardist and session musician in his local church, however. How to Style a Shirt Like Drake
10 of Drake’s best shirts
Music , News, Music , Men, High-Fashion
Drake is not only a 4-time Grammy Award winner but he’s also got a great sense of style. It's no surprise GQ even named him their best-dressed man in 2017.
Drake’s style has evolved from baggy jeans and hoodies in 2007 to now going for a look that seamlessly mixes streetwear with high-fashion for a more sports-luxe look. Drake isn’t one to take risks with fashion like artists such as Pharell Williams and Kanye West would, however. It’s clear he likes what he likes; plain t-shirts, sports jerseys and of course his signature chain.
People understandably want to copy Drake’s style. It’s easy, effortless and cool. That’s also probably why he started his own clothing line, October’s Very Own or OVO for short. The streetwear brand was fittingly named this because Drake and his crew’s birthdays are all in October.
We also have Drake in the ‘Hotline Bling’ video to thank for making turtlenecks cool again. And now that it’s fall again we’ll be seeing a lot more of Drake’s turtleneck-and-suit combo’s. But, we’re not here to talk about Drake’s love of grey turtlenecks, instead, we’re focusing on his best shirts. This includes everything from bright printed shirts to black Nike polo tees. Take a look below and learn how to style a shirt like Drake.
DRAKE’S MARILYN MONROE SHIRT
Probably his most out-there look, the Canadian rapper wore this Loewe shirt which features a graphic of Marilyn Monroe in a recent Instagram picture. He kept the rest of his outfit simple by layering it over a black t-shirt and adding some plain black jeans.

DRAKE’S LOUIS VUITTON MONOGRAM T-SHIRT
Black is the easiest colour to style seeing as it goes with literally everything, and this is probably why we often see Drake wearing black. To add a bit of texture to his otherwise plain outfit Drake paired this Louis Vuitton Monogram Towelling t-shirt with some OVO trousers.

DRAKE’S BLACK NIKE POLO SHIRT
Here, Drake is giving off sporty dad vibes during a golfing trip in Turks and Caicos.

DRAKE’S RAPTORS JERSEY
Drake is an official ambassador for the Toronto Raptors, so it’s no surprise he wore their jersey recently. He wore the Raptors Basketball jersey during the 9th Annual OVO Fest. OVO Fest in Toronto was launched by Drake in 2010, with artists including Eminem, Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole having headlined in the past.

DRAKE’S WHITE HAWAIIAN SHIRT
Drake’s Wacko Maria Hawaiian shirt features printed images of Bob Marley.

DRAKE’S BLACK NIKE T-SHIRT
Drake is clearly a big fan of simple Nike logo t-shirts. He wore a full Nike fit; shoes and trousers included, in the video for “No Guidance”.
[product id=10745] Small Swoosh T-Shirt [/product]
DRAKE’S ADIDAS TEE
Drake may like wearing designer brands such as Louis Vuitton, but he’s also a fan of buying and wearing clothes that won’t break the bank too, including this 3-Stripes Adidas tee.
[product id=11953] Black Jersey T-shirt [/product]
DRAKE’S DSQUARED2 T-SHIRT
Sticking to wearing his favourite colour, Drake paired the Dsquared2 black crewneck with some black jeans for a simple yet effective look.

DRAKE’S SILK CORDUROY SHIRT
Drake channeled his inner 90s hip-hop star with this Sies Marjan velvet-corduroy shirt. All he’s missing is some tinted glasses.

The Best Street Style Looks at NYFW
New York Fashion Week spring 2020 is well underway
Music , News, Music , Men, High-Fashion , Men, FashionWeek
If you’re like us then you’ve been looking forward to fashion month for quite some time. It’s the time of year when we get a sneak peek at the very best trends we can expect in the coming season. And this month we’re kicking things off with New York Fashion Week.
While we may not actually be in New York, we've been keeping up to date with everything on social media. Models, designers and influencers have been posting their every move during NYFW and have been making us feel like we’re frow’ing it alongside them.
Standout shows so far include the Zendaya x Tommy presentation where the Apollo Theater in Harlem was transformed into the 70s with plenty of sharp suits, oversized hats and flared trousers. Prabal Gurung paid tribute to his immigrant past for his 10th-anniversary collection with models wearing silk sashes that read ‘Who Gets To Be American?’ during the finale. Ralph Lauren brought back the glitz and glamour of the 1920s by turning a ballroom on Wall Street into a swanky nightclub named “Ralph’s Club”. The show was filled with plenty of sophisticated suits and evening gowns.
Thanks to shows like Euphoria boring makeup is also a thing of the past during fashion week. Brands like Jason Wu, Pyer Moss and Chromat have been opting for bolder makeup such as neon eyeliner and rhinestone detailing during their shows.
With New York Fashion Week comes plenty of great street style looks too. For more wearable looks we love to look at what the fashion-savvy wear on their way to the shows and parties happening during the week. Often the style on the streets can be just as intriguing and interesting as those on the runways. Take a look below at some of our favourite NYFW street style looks.
SAMMY ROBINSON IN BEC AND BRIDGE
Australian Youtuber and influencer Sammy Robinson wore the Bec and Bridge Alexa Long Sleeve Midi Dress on the streets of NYC. She paired it with some white trainers, a gunmetal grey bag and simple gold jewellery.
[product id=11997] Blue Check Print Dress [/product]
OLIVIA LAZUARDY IN LONGCHAMP
Indonesian blogger Olivia Lazuardy was spotted wearing this white look to the Longchamp show. She wore the Longchamp cropped knit pull over a white shirt, added some long white shorts and white Tibi patent-leather boots. She finished the look with the Longchamp La Voyageuse bag.
During the Longchamp show, Kendall Jenner spoke to Vogue about why she isn’t walking in any shows during NYFW. “It’s a lot more mellow to just go, but I won’t lie, today I was missing it. I was watching the girls and I was like ‘damn, I kind of want to walk.” With London Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week still to come let's hope Kendall Jenner will be back doing what she does best.

LAURELLE IN TIBI
For the SS20 Tibi show, content creator Laurelle wore the Tibi Modern Drape Zip Front Tunic with a black mini skirt. She accessorised with Prada sunnies and the Chloé Nile Croc-Effect Minaudière handbag.
The Tibi NYFW show included plenty of neutral tones. Standout pieces included a pair of peach coloured cargo pants and a long-sleeved green tie-dye knit dress with cutout back. “If there isn’t something a little strange, our customer doesn’t want it," Amy Smilovic, Tibi’s designer, said to Vogue.

Zendaya X Tommy Hilfiger Take Us Back to the 70s in New Collection
The Zendaya x Tommy Hilfiger Fall collection debuted at NYFW
Music , News, Music , Men, High-Fashion , Men, FashionWeek, Music , News, News
Zendaya has brought the 70s back again for her second collection with Tommy Hilfiger. The “See Now, Buy Now” fall collection was unveiled at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, NYC.
The Tommy x Zendaya NYFW show flashed us back to the 70s with sharp suits, flared jeans and skirts, neck scarves and wide-brimmed fedoras. The show took place at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem - the same venue where the likes of Diana Ross and The Jackson 5 performed at during the disco era. The venue was transformed into Harlem in the seventies with a jazz orchestra performing as guests awaited the show.
23-year-old Zendaya spoke to Vogue about how the collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger is representative of her generation’s perspectives. “There’s a misconception that my generation is self-involved; that they’re always on their phones. This generation is very smart, very bright, and really the hope for the future. I think there are so many bright young minds coming up and we’re in good hands.” Zendaya went on to explain how older generations should listen to younger generations to help uplift younger voices and create change.

The actress first announced her collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger in October 2018. They debuted their first SS19 collection at Paris Fashion Week at the end of February. The first collection also focused on 70s wearable looks. It included flared trousers, tight slogan tees, long pleated skirts and jumpsuits.
Over the weekend Twitter went wild over a picture of Zendaya and Michael B. Jordan wearing the exact same grey textured Berluti suit. Michael wore his to the Vanity Fair Oscars party back in February, whilst Zendaya wore hers at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party during New York Fashion Week on Friday.

38 of Beyoncé’s Best Shoes
Happy 38th birthday Queen Bey
Music , News, Music , Men, High-Fashion , Men, FashionWeek, Music , News, News, High-Fashion , Women
[intro] Today is a monumental day. It’s the day that the Queen was born. Now, we’re not talking about Queen Elizabeth but the other Queen, Queen Bey. And in celebration of the big day, we’re focusing on Beyoncé’s best looks. [/intro]
It was clear from the moment Beyoncé Giselle Knowles was born on September 4th 1981 that she was destined to be a star. After enrolling in various dance schools in Houston, Texas when she was younger it was obvious the talent she possessed. Beyoncé then formed Destiny’s Child alongside Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams in 1990. With the group going on to win three Grammy Award’s and release five albums before separating in 2005.
Since the trios split Beyoncé hasn’t done too bad for herself either. She’s released seven albums, sold over 100 million records worldwide, created a fashion line, won 23 Grammy Awards and been a force of nature when it comes to philanthropy.
Every year the singer seems to achieve more and more. For her 37th year, Beyoncé had a few milestones. In December 2018 the “Drunk in Love” singer and Jay-Z headlined the Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 in South Africa paying tribute to Africa’s diversity. In April her documentary and concert film Homecoming premiered on Netflix and received six Emmy nominations. 2019 also saw the release of Disney’s latest live-action film, The Lion King, with Beyoncé voicing the role of Nala.
38 is expected to be another big year for the singer. Beyoncé started her birthday celebrations early when she attended Made in American festival in Philadelphia on Monday night. Jay-Z surprised her with a cake complete with sparklers and a bottle of champagne whilst the crowd at the event sung ‘happy birthday’.
No word yet on what she has planned for this year's birthday although last year she celebrated in Sardinia, Italy.
In celebration of Beyoncé’s 38th birthday, we are going deeper into the singer's wardrobe. Some of Beyoncé’s key essentials include fitted blazers, strappy sandals, mini handbags and statement sunglasses. But for today we are going to be focusing on 38 of Beyoncé’s best shoes and it’s clear the singer loves everything from comfy Adidas sneakers to Alexander Wang stilettos.

BEYONCÉ X ADIDAS
Earlier this year Beyoncé joined forces with Adidas to release a range of footwear and apparel. The collaboration also means the relaunch of Beyoncé’s Ivy Park brand, which she bought back from Topshop in 2018.
“This is the partnership of a lifetime for me,” Beyoncé said in a statement from the brand. “We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of business. I look forward to re-launching and expanding Ivy Park on a truly global scale with a proven, dynamic leader.”
To announce the Beyoncé x Adidas collaboration Beyoncé posted a photo on Instagram posing with an array of Adidas shoes.

Is Nicki Minaj Retiring?
All the best memes from the announcement
Music , News, Music , Men, High-Fashion , Men, FashionWeek, Music , News, News, High-Fashion , Women, News, Music
Nicki Minaj recently tweeted saying she was retiring from music to start a family - and people aren’t happy.
The “Pink Friday” rapper and singer tweeted “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, in the box - cuz ain’t nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE”.
Nicki Minaj, whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj, rose to fame in 2010 with the release of her first album Pink Friday. The album reached number two on the Billboard 200 and Nicki was nominated for three Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and Best Rap Album. She went on to release three more albums and collaborate with artists like Justin Bieber, Madonna, David Guetta and more recently Megan Thee Stallion.
Nicki’s fourth album Queen failed to top the charts like her other albums, leading her to blame Spotify and Travis Scott, whose album Astroworld did go to number one. She then cancelled her joint tour with Future saying she “simply doesn’t have the time to rehearse...to give the level of show I need to give”.
We’re sad that Nicki Minaj has decided now is the time to retire after the success of her single with Megan Thee Stallion “Hot Girl Summer”. Whereas before it was hard for females in hip-hop to appeal to both men and women, Nicki has used her career to open doors for other female rappers. Perhaps without her, female rappers like Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion and Lizzo wouldn’t have had as much success as they have had. But, maybe Nicki Minaj’s retirement is no shock after all. In her single “Moment 4 Life” she rapped the line “I will retire with the crown, yes”.
Nicki’s fans aren’t too happy with her announcement with many thinking it was a joke.
Maybe there’s hope that Nicki Minaj will return from retirement shortly. She wouldn’t be the first artist to say their retiring before returning soon after. Both Jay-Z and Eminem have said they were going to retire yet have since released multiple albums each.

Billie Eilish’s New Music Video Is a Metaphor for Climate Change
“All the good girls go to hell” is Billie Eilish’s sixth single from her debut album
Music , News, Music , Men, High-Fashion , Men, FashionWeek, Music , News, News, High-Fashion , Women, News, Music , News
[caption]Billie Eilish "all the good girls go to hell"[/caption]
[intro]Billie Eilish has just dropped the fiery music video for her latest single “all the good girls go to hell”. The song is the sixth single from the singer's debut album ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’. [/intro]
The “all the good girls go to hell” music video begins with Billie Eilish forming a set of wings in a freaky alienesque and Stranger Things inspired transformation. The “Ocean Eyes” singer then falls to earth and into a pool of thick tar before walking down an abandoned road. Oh and if her day couldn’t get any worse, the buildings behind her are emblazoned in thick fire and smoke.
Billie’s latest music video seems to be a metaphor for the future if climate change is not addressed. In the description of the video Billie encourages people to strike to encourage world leaders to pay attention to the issues that the world is facing. “Right now there are millions of people all over the world begging our leaders to pay attention. our earth is warming up at an unprecedented rate, icecaps are melting, our oceans are rising, our wildlife is being poisoned and our forests are burning.”
She continued the message, “On September 23rd, the UN will host the 2019 Climate Action Summit to discuss how to tackle these issues. the clock is ticking. on Friday September 20th and Friday September 27th you can make your voice be heard. take it to the streets. #climatestrike”
The aim of the UN Climate Action Summit 2019 is to encourage governments to create concrete, realistic plans to enhance their nationally determined contributions by 20202, in line with reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 45% over the next decade, and to net zero emissions by 2050.

AJ Tracey Models Newest Tottenham Hotspur Kit
The kit was designed by Nike and is influenced by the 90s
[caption] Tottenham Hotspur[/caption]
[intro] Tottenham Hotspur have debuted the third kit that will be worn during the 2019/20 season in a new lookbook starring AJ Tracey. [/intro]
British rapper AJ Tracey has been a lifelong Spurs fan and features in the lookbook for the new kit. Speaking to Tottenham Hotspur the rapper shared his thoughts on the new designs. “It’s one of my favourite jerseys for sure, the light blue pops and the retro aesthetic goes down well. I can’t wait to wear it to the European games especially this season.”
The latest Tottenham Hotspur kit was designed by Nike and is heavily influenced by the 90s. The shirt features a classic 90s button-down collar, and nostalgic Spurs and Nike Futura logos. Whilst the light blue shade pays tribute to the iconic players who helped carve the way for the club’s success. The kit is finished with dark blue trim on the sleeves.
The light blue kit will be worn by Tottenham Hotspur players during the Champion League games later this season.

AJ Tracey is most known for his songs including “Ladbroke Grove” and “Thiago Silva” ft. Dave. At Glastonbury Festival 2019 Dave performed “Thiago Silva” on the stage and called upon the help of Alex Mann, a fan and festival-goer. #alexfromglasto was kitted out in a PSG Thiago Silva shirt and nailed AJ Tracey’s verses word for word. Alex Mann went on to release his own single “What Ya Kno Bout That Bro?” and you can shop the fashion on Post Kulture.

[intro]Dua Lipa has just released her first-ever design collection for Pepe Jeans. The AW19 collection is inspired by London in the 90s and early 00s.[/intro]
The Dua Lipa x Pepe Jeans collection features a range of going-out separates and signature denim. The top pieces include a chainmail dress which is similar to Paris Hilton’s iconic 21st birthday Versace one. A raw denim mini skirt inspired by the singer's mum and a wax jacket which is a staple piece for anyone’s festival wardrobe. Pepe Jeans was founded in 1973 by three brothers who ran a weekend stall at Portobello Road Market in London. After their success at the market they expanded to a store in Carnaby St before becoming a global brand. Shop some pieces from the Dua for Pepe collection below.

The Pepe Jeans SS19 collection, which Dua Lipa fronted, featured well-cut jeans and denim jackets. The denim collection was made using Pepe Jeans new eco-technologies which are part of their Tru-Blu programme. According to their website, the Tru-Blu programme “focuses on the reduction of the mass, intense production of cotton. This collection has been created using organic cotton that reduces the use of pesticides allowing wildlife to flourish and eliminates water pollution in rivers and ground water.”
Since releasing her debut self-titled album in 2017 Dua Lipa has been making her mark. She made history after being the first female nominated for five categories at the 2018 Brit Awards and walked away with the Grammy for Best New Artist earlier this year. The Best Pieces On Depop At The Moment
Straight from the Depop x Selfridges pop-up
Music , News, Music , Men, High-Fashion , Men, FashionWeek, Music , News, News, High-Fashion , Women, News, Music , News, News, Trends, Women, Trends, Sustainable
[intro]Since its launch in 2011, Depop has been a hub for the fashion hungry to buy and sell trendy second-hand clothing. [/intro]
We’re not just talking your old t-shirt from Primark that you wore once when you were 12, but more stylised clothing inspired by vintage trends. Items like 90s Versace jeans and Valentino jackets are all over the app. Depop is like if eBay and Instagram combined. Whatever you’re into whether its 70s style flared jeans or 2019 Western wear there’s most definitely someone on Depop selling your dream item. According to Rachel Swidenbank, vice president of marketplace at Depop, some sellers are pulling in as much as $300,000 a year. This new way of passing on clothes is not only great for the bank account but it’s also great for the environment. Instead of throwing away clothes and leaving them to decompose in landfill for up to 40 years, Depop and its 13 million users worldwide are helping to move away from fast fashion and towards a more sustainable approach. Buyers are giving barely worn pieces a new lease of life. The only downside of vintage shopping online? It’s not 100% guaranteed that the items will fit. But luckily for us, Depop have launched a pop-up in Selfridges giving people the chance to actually try on some of the pieces. Every week, a different Depop seller will be selling their items in-store, with a curated section online too. To celebrate the pop-up, which is running until the end of October, we’ve listed our favourite items from the Depop x Selfridges collab online now. But be quick as there is only one of every item!
